About Me
As a UX designer, I apply a user-centric approach to achieving business goals. My empathetic and inquisitive nature helps me to ensure that business objectives always align with the same end goal — building engaging, accessible experiences that empower users.
My professional background as an interaction designer and account manager includes extensive experience designing and managing digital experiences for a roster of fortune 500 companies in the financial, healthcare, and life sciences markets.
What I Like to Do
User Research
Discovering user’s behaviors and motivations for using a product is essential to delivering a solution that reduces friction and enables users to achieve their goals. I’ve spent the past two years developing my skills in 1:1 interviewing techniques and data synthesis.
Interaction Design
Creating interactions that allow users to focus on completing tasks and achieving their goals rather than distracting them with complicated interfaces. Interactions should be familiar, with controls in place to inform users of unforeseen consequences from unintended actions.
Usability Testing
Placing the focus on the user by discovering how they think, feel, and approach a product. This informs design decisions that in turn make a product or service easy to learn, use, and remember how to use, as well as helping users avoid committing errors, and recover from errors when they do make one.
